Flower men

I have been training in a martial art - the Way of the Flowering Manhood - for over 15 years now. I'm finally beginning to understand what it means: it means becoming a beautiful, powerful man.

Why is a flower beautiful?

• It is vibrant
• It is symmetrical
• It is pleasing to the senses
• It represents youth and virility
• It is intricate and sophisticated
• It can stand alone, or look good among other flowers
• It is temporary

Flowers, like men, come and go. They bud out of the strong, always evolving, plant that is humanity. They spend their time in the sun and wilt, only to return again the next season. Much as I would like to fight it, this is life.
